Boys Underachieving

The education system is
failing English working-class boys in many ways. First, they are, as
a group, ignored and most politicians and bureaucrats even deny their
existence. Thus the 2006 GCSE results have been analysed by researchers
at Manchester University in a way that labels English pupils as 'White
British' and thereby perpetuates one of the problems facing English
children, which is a lack of perceived ethnic and communal identity,
and a consequent lack of self-esteem and self-confidence. This gives
rise to the shameful situation where English children living in England
believe that settler children have a communal identity but they, the
indigenous population, have none.
Ethnocide
English
boys from poor backgrounds are under-performing and falling behind classmates
belonging to other ethnic groups, but they do not get the policies and
funding that groups within the settler communities receive. It seems
that the only reason this has become a concern for progressives is that
they believe the exclusion of such a large group will cause it to feel
neglected and isolated from British society and create potential supporters
for parties 'like the BNP'. The solution adopted by progressives is
not to recognise and promote English ethnicity but instead to attempt
to manipulate it, redefine it, and merge it into other inclusive identities
such as 'British' and 'White'. It is odd that while the BNP is softening
its White and British stance and recognising the importance of English
ethnic identity, progressives are doing the opposite and trying to erase
English ethnic identity. If such ethnocide was practised on any other
group we would have progressives complaining about racism and a denial
of human rights.
I'm not a racist but . . .
Such is the growing concern of progressive about their lack of social
control over young members of the English working class that the Conservative
party and teachers' unions are united in urging that there should be
financial support for these 'White' pupils. John Bangs, National Union
of Teachers' head of education, pointed out that specific grants for
ethnic-minority pupils would rise to £178 million next financial
year, but "there is no equivalent for the poorest White pupils".
Cameron Watt, who helped produce a report published recently by Iain
Duncan Smith, said: "There's a political lobby highlighting the
issue of underachievement among black boys, and quite rightly so, but
I don't think there's a single project specifically for white working-class
boys. I don't want to stir up racial hatred, but that is something that
should be addressed."
Who is going to represent them?
The research by Manchester University shows that poor White pupils [i.e.
English] are getting less funding than other racial groups. The study
was conducted in an unnamed (probably English) deprived inner city,
which received a high level of funding to tackle inequality. A greatly
disproportionate amount of the available money was spent on pupils with
English as an additional language, but "white learners from highly
disadvantaged backgrounds were reportedly often overlooked". The
researchers were told by a local authority officer that other much more
disadvantaged White areas were losing out because, "white poverty
and underachievement aren't as headline grabbing or sexy". The
report revealed that the parents of poor English children (boys and
girls) are more likely to send their children to local 'failing schools'
rather than play the system. In other words, they have a sense of working-class
community and stick together but have no political party to represent
their interests.
Invisible, ignored and neglected
Figures from the Department for Education and Skills show that White
British boys (i.e. English boys) from poor families perform worse at
GCSE than almost any other racial group. 24 per cent of those entitled
to free school meals gained five or more good GCSEs last year, compared
with 65 per cent of poor Chinese boys and 48 per cent of poor Indian
and Bangladeshi boys.
The proportion of poor White British (i.e. English) boys attaining top-grade
GCSEs during the past three years has risen by 7 per cent, while the
proportion of similar boys from settler communities reaching the same
target has risen faster. For example, the number of poor Bangladeshi
boys achieving five top grades rose by more than 12 per cent, while
for Pakistani boys results rose by almost 10 per cent. Black Caribbean
and Black African boys improved their scores by more than 9 per cent.
The only group performing worse than the White British (i.e. English)
were boys from traveller families, where the score was 5 per cent. Presumably
by 'travellers' they mean Irish and Romany travellers.
The stench of decay
Now that the Office for National Statistics (ONS) has agreed to include
'English' as an ethnic group on census forms, we can look forward to
statistics which acknowledge the existence of the ethnic English and
see an end to members of our community being labelled 'White British'.
Let's hope the British establishment follows the ONS lead - but I doubt
it. I foresee the Commission for Equality and Human Rights doing all
they can to remove 'English' as an ethnic group from the census form.
Also, they will push for a new Race Relations Act which will redefine
the ethnic / indigenous English out of existence for legal and administrative
purposes. They will do this by using an inclusive definition of English.
These fanatics are set on destroying us and they go about their task
with relish and obvious pleasure.
But they
should be warned - we are English and we are not going away - this is
our homeland - we gave it our name - we are the indigenous English.
So the British government and those who proclaim they are against discrimination
should recognise our existence and address our special needs and interests
because if they don't, more and more of us will regard the British state
as a pernicious political structure that we have not the slightest interest
in preserving. Loyalty is a two-way relationship - if you ignore our
existence and proper demands we will relish your destruction.
