The Ethnic English Trust v Commission for Racial Equality We lost but there were gains, not the least being that much was learnt from it. We thank all those who made a donation to the fighting fund and assure them that the time, effort and money that went into this matter was not wasted. None of those involved had ever undertaken such a task before and we have gained much valuable experience from this skirmish. In particular we now know some of the stresses and strains that come from using the legal system. We wish to reassure those who supported us that their donations have or will be used solely to cover the legal costs and obligations incurred to our barrister, the court and others not connected with the Trust.
